Press Play...
this is a Hi-Tek instrumental i heard, loved and wrote to. i think the original features Nas, Mos Def and Marsha (of Floetry)...
We're kind of nearly getting there at last....We've spent some time back in the studio this month going over the final mixes of tracks for the album 'Deletia'. It's all coming together really well now although we're up against it trying to meet our planned release date - but so it goes! :) Thought I'd upload something new from the album anyway and see what people think. This is a brand new track called 'Army Of Two'. It'll be the last song on the album.....and is quite short and gentle sounding compared to a lot of the stuff we've posted previously so thought it might make a nice change! The songs we've put down for the album itself are quite diverse, but hopefully this'll give some idea of the range of sounds we're going for anyway...Gavin did an excellent job producing this - thankfully he really knew what we were trying to achieve with the ending - which is always a good thing ;) Hope you like it anyway!
A quick reminder once again to all you London folks that we'll be at Storm in Leicester Square this Friday night. We've never played the venue before but it should be a blast anyway - come along if you can!

According to The Independent, no! Finally, someone talks sense...
The Independent: Does the World Need Another Indie Band?
Never a truer word spoken, and I'm not just saying that because I despise the genre and play rock music. Personal highlight:
"I was in Gap a few weeks ago and there was some sort of generic indie music playing, I was with a friend who's a promoter and a bit younger than me. After about three or four tracks I asked him: 'Whose LP is this?' And he said, 'No, it's a compilation.' Every track sounded identical. The guitars, the production; all these bands sound like they're made in the same studio with the same producer. It's such a ball-less, soulless, generic whitewashed indie sound. You could probably take a member from each band and throw them together in a new group and no one would be able to tell the difference. They're completely interchangeable. Scouting for Girls are like the sound of Satan's scrotum emptying. They're abysmal."
Nail on the head, sir...
Please forward this article to as many people as you can, and leave a comment if you agree!
Please let me know what you think, i'd love some feedback on this song!

Practice is good and a must if you want to become a good guitar player, but nothing is more rewarding than playing your first song on guitar. Thankfully, there are plenty of easy guitar tabs for beginners. There are hundreds of websites online that list these easy guitar tabs and of course there is YouTube for the video lessons of these songs, but it's difficult to find any one site that puts all of these lessons into one convenient location.
I created a post on my main guitar blog that includes 5 easy guitar songs that any beginner can learn how to play with a little confidence and practice. Included are video lessons and links to tabs, chords & lyrics. Enjoy!
